Terms of service

The fine print, kept short.

The match-day rulebook for Scanini, in plain English. We've tried to keep it short and human — none of the legalese mystique. Read once, get on with the album.

Pre-match brief: these terms describe how Scanini works today. Creating an account or using the app counts as agreement. If anything changes that actually matters, we'll update this page and post a notice in the app.

1. What Scanini is

Scanini is a service operated by Powery Dev Group, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America ("we", "us", "our"). It's a web app that helps Panini sticker collectors track their albums by scanning stickers with their phone or laptop camera. The service includes:

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share credentials. Don't try to access another user's data, scrape the app, or use it to interfere with others.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, your parent or guardian needs to agree to these terms on your behalf.

3. Credits and payments

Scanini uses a credit system: each successful scan (one that matches a real card from the official checklist) costs one credit. Failed scans, hallucinations, and unreadable frames don't burn credits.

4. House rules

Don't:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. We try to give a heads-up first, but flagrant abuse is a fast track to closure.

5. Your data and content

You own your collection data — the cards you've scanned and own. We store it so the service works. See the Privacy policy for the full picture.

Camera images are not stored. They're sent to our vision provider for the scan and discarded immediately afterward. Only the scan result (the code, the timestamp, the result) is retained.

6. Our IP

The Scanini app, design, and brand belong to us. The 2026 Panini World Cup checklist (player names, country codes, sticker numbers) is owned by Panini S.p.A. — Scanini is an unofficial collector tool and isn't endorsed by or affiliated with Panini, FIFA, or any participating football association.

7. Disclaimers

The vision model is good but not perfect. Scans can be misread. Scanini does its best to catch errors (confidence checks, two-in-a-row confirmation, validation against the checklist), but you should sanity-check your collection if accuracy matters to you.

Scanini is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in your region.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for anything related to Scanini is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — like lost trades, missed completions, or anything similar.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time — Account → Delete my account in the app. We can also show accounts a red card and close them if they break the house rules above or pose a real security / abuse risk. If we close an account without cause, we'll refund any unused credits proportionally.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged in-app and on this page. Continuing to use Scanini after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Scanini will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
